        123 Clashes on the Front Line: Russian Assaults Repelled, Ukrainian Forces Hold the Line

        As of 4:00 p.m. on May 3, a total of 123 combat engagements have taken place on the front line, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

        The heaviest fighting continues on the Pokrovsk front, where Ukrainian defenders are repelling numerous assaults—10 clashes are ongoing. High enemy activity is also reported on the Novopavlivka axis, with 28 battles still underway.

        On the Kharkiv front, Russian forces launched two attacks near Vovchansk. Near Kupiansk, fighting continues around Zahryzove. On the Lyman front, the enemy conducted nine assaults near Ridkodub, Yampolivka, Kolodiazi, Torske, and toward Hryhorivka—one engagement remains active. On the Kramatorsk front, clashes are ongoing near Chasiv Yar, Maïske, and Bila Hora.

        Russian airstrikes targeted several settlements in the Chernihiv, Sumy, Zaporizhzhia, and Donetsk regions. Guided aerial bombs were used, including on Shevchenko Pershe, Zelenе Pole, Novopil, and Huliaipole.

        No offensive actions were recorded today on the Siverskyi, Huliaipole, or Prydniprovske fronts. However, Ukrainian troops continue to wear down the enemy along the entire front line and in the enemy’s rear.
