Zelenskyy: Ukraine may lose the war if US aid is reduced

In an interview with Fox News on November 19, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that a reduction in US military aid to Ukraine could lead to the country’s defeat in the war with Russia.

He said this in an interview with Fox News on November 19.

Zelensky emphasized that Ukraine’s own production capacity is not enough to effectively counter the aggressor.

“If aid is cut, I think we may lose. Of course, we will stay and continue the fight. We have our own production, but it is not enough to win or survive. If this is the choice of the United States, we will decide what to do next,” the President said.

When asked about the state of hostilities, Zelenskyy said that the most difficult period was already over – those were the first months of the full-scale invasion.

“I believe that we have already gone through the most difficult stage, but now everything depends on our unity. It is dangerous if we lose unity in Europe or, most importantly, between Ukraine and the United States,” he emphasized.

Zelensky also noted that the end of the war depends on Russian President Vladimir Putin.

“He can end this war if he wants to. However, a lot depends on the United States, because Putin is weaker than them. The US president has power, authority and weapons, and can reduce the price of energy,” the Ukrainian leader added.
