The Russian shelling of Kharkiv on 29 March claimed the lives of two people and injured about 30 others. This was reported by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on social media.
According to him, most regions of Ukraine have come under attack over the past week. Russia used 1,310 guided aerial bombs, more than 1,000 attack drones, mostly Shaheds, and nine missiles of various types, including ballistic missiles. Most of the targets were destroyed by air defence forces and mobile fire groups.
Zelenskyy stressed that Ukraine is providing its allies with full information about Russia’s attacks and expects the United States, Europe and partners to respond accordingly. The President thanked the countries that help with air defence systems and support the Ukrainian defence sector.
