President Volodymyr Zelenskyy discussed with European leaders further support for Ukraine, security issues and ways to a just peace.
He announced this on social media.
With Prime Minister of the Netherlands Dick Schoof, Zelenskyy discussed strengthening European unity and military support for Ukraine. The President thanked the Netherlands for its assistance and readiness to expand it, in particular, the supply of F-16 fighter jets in 2025.
‘The skies over Ukraine must be closed and safe,’ Zelenskyy stressed.
During the conversation with Prime Minister of Albania Edi Rama, the parties discussed joint projects and European diplomatic initiatives. The President stressed the importance of Ukraine and Europe’s participation in all negotiations on the future of the continent.
He also had a conversation with Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Keir Starmer. The leaders agreed on further military cooperation and joint steps for the coming week.
‘The security of Ukraine is inseparable from the security of Europe,’ Zelenskyy said, thanking the UK for its continued support.
