Zelenskyy Confirms Attendance at Ramstein Defense Meeting in Germany

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has announced that he will attend the Ramstein meeting on January 9. Ukrainian Defense Minister Umerov is already in Germany and has started his first meetings.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy said this in an evening video address.

According to Zelenskyy, talks with partners at the level of defense ministers and military commanders are also planned. The key for Ukraine is to continue strengthening its air defense and to be able to drive Russian military aircraft away from its borders.

“This is realistic if our partners implement the agreements we have been talking about for a long time. I am grateful to everyone who helps Ukraine”, – Zelenskyy said.

According to the Ukrainian leader, the partners will also discuss how defense coalitions will work in 2025.
