Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy arrived in New York with First Lady Olena Zelenska and a diplomatic team for the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly. Around 20 meetings are planned during the visit, including talks with U.S. President Donald Trump, as well as the signing of a new Drone Deal.

In New York, the Ukrainian president is due to meet European leaders, U.S. senators and members of the House of Representatives, as well as heads of international organizations, leading American companies and think tanks.
Zelenskyy said the main topics of the talks would include ending the war, security and de-escalation measures, strengthening Ukraine’s air defenses and securing sufficient financing for the country.
According to the White House, the meeting between Zelenskyy and Trump is scheduled to begin today at 8:15 p.m. Kyiv time.
A summit of the international Crimea Platform is also planned in New York on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly, with representatives of partner countries expected to attend.
Olena Zelenska is due to address students and faculty at Columbia University and present the results of the Summit of First Ladies and Gentlemen at the UN. She is also scheduled to meet representatives of U.S. businesses and philanthropic organizations, the wife of the British prime minister and the president of the World Bank.
