Next week will see active work with Ukraine’s partners for the sake of supporting the soldiers on the frontline and forcing Russia to end the war.
This was said by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky in the traditional evening address on Saturday, 26 October.
‘We are preparing important signals of support,’ he stated.
According to Zelensky, the lack of stronger decisions by partners in support of Ukraine encourages Putin to invest in terror.
‘The world can stop the war from unfolding. Abstractions and words are not enough for this – concrete steps are needed,’ he said.
The President emphasised that the steps necessary for this were voiced to Ukraine’s partners in the Victory Plan.
‘Something that will not allow the perpetrators of the war to become even more aggressive. We expect the necessary more pressure on Russia. We expect more support for Ukraine. That will be fair. And the time that is running out while there are no solutions is, unfortunately, constant Russian strikes, constant loss of our lives,’ said Vladimir Zelensky.
The President emphasised that every 24 hours of war shows that Moscow is determined to continue aggression.
‘They don’t want anything else there. That is why they are trying to increase their defence production and it is by circumventing sanctions. That is why they are taking more and more North Korea as accomplices, and their soldiers could be on the battlefield against Ukraine as early as the next day. Ukraine will have to actually fight against North Korea in Europe,’ the Ukrainian leader said.
