Volodymyr Tymoshko resigns from the post of Chief of Police in Kharkiv region

Volodymyr Tymoshko, the head of the Main Department of the National Police in Kharkiv Region, has moved to another position in the National Police of Ukraine. He announced this on social media.

On 24.02.2022, I went to my hometown with the only order from the President of Ukraine and the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the National Police – ‘Hold Kharkiv’ – and I fulfilled this order, together with all the defence forces and police officers of the garrison.
The score is on the board.
I am not ashamed of a single minute of work, a single day of war or a single decision I have made.
I had the honour of leading the best police force in the world. And I am proud of it.
The level of RESPECT the residents of Slobozhanshchyna have for the police is proof of this. I am confident that this will continue.
I am leaving behind a fully operational, combat-ready unit that will accurately perform its functions.
I am taking with me a piece of reinforced concrete that I have earned, as well as a piece of respect for the police, the respect of my friends and colleagues with whom I went through this extremely difficult time side by side, and the memory of those who are no longer with us.
I am grateful to each and every police officer of the team I lead. You are the best.
I am grateful to all my brothers and sisters who were by my side.
I thank the leadership of the State, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the National Police for entrusting me with the execution of the Order to defend Kharkiv, for supporting and helping me.
The plan is as follows: work, victory in the war. Everything will be Ukraine. I am honoured.
