A soldier of the K-2 battalion of the 54th Brigade single-handedly repelled an assault group of Russians, forcing them to flee from their captured positions in the northern sector.
“Vadym went up the battlefield when there was no time to even put on a bulletproof vest and helmet. He went alone to destroy a group of six Russians who were approaching his dugout,” the unit said.
The brave actions of the Ukrainian infantryman forced the occupiers to retreat from their trenches back to the field, where the operators of the attack drones were waiting for them.
The drones destroyed most of the group of Russians trying to return to their positions in the open.
Vadym’s heroic battle with the occupiers took place on July 15 this year. The K-2 battalion said that he later gave his life in combat with the enemy.
