The Ministry of Defence has approved the Varkhan ground robotic system for supply to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. It is designed for military logistics and is capable of transporting hundreds of kilograms of cargo over several dozen kilometres.

This was reported by the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine.

Varkhan can be used to deliver weapons, ammunition, equipment and other supplies needed by the military.

The system has 4×4 all-wheel drive and ground clearance of more than 200 mm. Thanks to this, it can move across difficult terrain, severe off-road conditions, sand and marshy ground.

Quick-release batteries help reduce downtime between missions. For operation in combat conditions, Varkhan is equipped with several communication and control systems.

The system’s ecosystem also includes ground control stations, antennas, masts, repeaters and rotating mechanisms.

Varkhan was developed by a Ukrainian defence company based on requests from the military. During testing, the system confirmed its stated characteristics.
