On September 15 and overnight into September 16, units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck a number of important Russian military targets. The targets included a Su-24 aircraft in temporarily occupied Crimea, a launch site for attack UAVs, drone command posts, an ammunition depot and fuel storage bases.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
At the airfield in Saky, in temporarily occupied Crimea, a Su-24 aircraft was hit. The extent of the damage is still being assessed.
In the Donetsk area, the Defense Forces struck a site used by Russian troops to store, prepare and launch attack drones.
UAV command posts were also hit in Staromlynivka and Pokrovsk in the Donetsk region, as well as in Pokrovske in the Zaporizhzhia region.
An enemy ammunition depot was struck in Dovzhansk in the Luhansk region.
In Rovenky in the Luhansk region and Berdiansk in the Zaporizhzhia region, the Defense Forces attacked fuel and lubricant storage bases.
Technical reconnaissance posts equipped with “Grenadier” systems were also hit in Suvorove and Rysove in temporarily occupied Crimea.
The General Staff said strikes on key Russian military targets are continuing.
