On October 18 and overnight into October 19, Ukraine’s Defense Forces struck a number of Russian military targets. The targets included a radar station in Russia’s Bryansk region, ammunition depots in the Donetsk region, an artillery firing position, and a UAV crew position.

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The radar station was struck near Trubchevsk in Russia’s Bryansk region.

The General Staff said systematic strikes on Russian radar stations create gaps in Russia’s radar coverage and weaken its air defense system. According to the military, this allows Ukraine to use unmanned systems more effectively both in the tactical zone along the front line and against military targets deep inside Russian territory.

Ukrainian forces also struck an artillery firing position and a UAV crew position near Lyman Pershyi in the Kharkiv region.

In the Donetsk region, Russian ammunition depots near Hrintal and Ternove were hit, as well as a logistics depot near Pelahiivka.

The General Staff also reported strikes on concentrations of Russian troops near Svobodne and Volodymyrivka in the Donetsk region and Naberezhne in the Zaporizhzhia region.

“Operations against key military targets continue,” the General Staff said.
