The Security Service of Ukraine continues its operation to clear the Black Sea of Russian troops, equipment and machinery.
‘In particular, recently, employees of the 13th Main Directorate of the Military Counterintelligence Department of the SBU conducted a combined special operation using sea and air drones. Its target was Russian radar equipment located on Ukrainian gas platforms,’ the SBU reported.
One of the complexes was first hit by an aerial drone, followed by a strike from a naval drone. The attack destroyed the Russian Neva radar station, as well as storage and residential facilities on the platform.
The SBU also recalled that it was thanks to surface drones that strikes were previously carried out on the Crimean Bridge and 11 Russian military ships. This weakened the Russian military presence in the region and helped restore the grain corridor.
