Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has announced that France will make additional deliveries of aircraft, air defense missiles, and aerial bombs this year. This was discussed during his conversation with French President Emmanuel Macron.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy wrote about this on social media X.

Zelenskyy informed Macron about the situation on the front lines and the losses of the Russian army, and also thanked him for his words of sympathy in connection with Russian strikes on civilians, in particular the shelling of a passenger train in the Kharkiv region.

During the conversation, the parties discussed diplomatic work, including negotiations in Abu Dhabi and possible future meetings. Special attention was paid to countering the Russian shadow fleet.

They also discussed the fight against the Russian shadow fleet. Emmanuel spoke about the relevant work at the legislative level, and we are counting on important decisions, Zelenskyy wrote.

The presidents also discussed strengthening Ukraine’s energy security. Ukraine will receive generators from France in the near future.

“This year, there will be additional deliveries of French aircraft, missiles for air defense systems, and aerial bombs,” the Ukrainian president said.
