Ukraine terminates air communication with Iran

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has decided to terminate the air service agreement with Iran. This was announced by the Cabinet’s representative in the Verkhovna Rada, Taras Melnychuk.

According to him, the agreement was concluded between the governments of Ukraine and the Islamic Republic of Iran on July 9, 1993 in Tehran.

Iran is Russia’s ally in the war against Ukraine, actively supporting the aggressor. In particular, Tehran provided Russia with a significant number of Shahed kamikaze drones, which Russian troops use to attack Ukrainian civilians, causing destruction and human casualties.
