The two countries separately agreed to expand the use of Finnish satellite capabilities for Ukraine’s defense needs and to strengthen the country’s resilience.

Nokia and ICEYE will be involved in this cooperation. Zelenskyy said satellite capabilities are important for Ukraine’s defense.

Finland will also support Ukraine’s logistics and energy sectors, which remain among the main targets of Russian attacks.

According to the president, Ukraine will receive additional locomotives, energy equipment and funding to protect energy infrastructure.

Zelenskyy thanked Finland and Prime Minister Petteri Orpo for their support and the high level of cooperation between the two countries.
