        Two women killed as Russia attacks Kharkiv Oblast with six drones

        Russian forces attacked the village of Lebiazhe in the Chuhuiv district of Kharkiv Oblast with six drones overnight on August 21. Two women were killed and two others were injured.

        Kharkiv Oblast Governor Oleh Syniehubov reported the casualties.

        The victims were women aged 73 and 66. Rescue workers recovered their bodies while clearing the rubble.

        Two other women, aged 41 and 73, were injured. Medical personnel provided them with the necessary assistance.

        Fires broke out in five private homes following the attack. Three houses were destroyed, while another 20 homes and three outbuildings were damaged.

        Emergency operations are continuing at the impact sites. Rescue workers are searching the rubble to ensure that no one else needs assistance.

        Law enforcement officers are documenting the attack as another alleged Russian war crime. Emergency medical teams also remain at the scene.
