Two people were killed and at least seven others were injured in a Russian attack on Kyiv on the evening of October 12. A 17-year-old girl was among those injured.
This was reported by the Kyiv City Prosecutor’s Office.
As of 9:00 p.m., the death of a 59-year-old woman had been confirmed. The body of another person was found in a car near a residential building. The injured suffered shrapnel wounds, bruises and cuts.
The damage was recorded in Kyiv’s Darnytskyi district, where a UAV fell in the courtyard of a 25-storey residential building.
A fire broke out after the drone fell. Apartments on the fourth and fifth floors were engulfed in flames. At least 12 cars and two motorcycles were also destroyed in the fire.
A pre-trial investigation has been launched under Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine — a war crime committed by Russian servicemen.
