Two people were killed and two others were injured in Russian strikes on the Zhytomyr region. Fires broke out in warehouse and industrial buildings in the Korosten district.
This was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
During repeated air raid alerts, rescuers had to withdraw to a safe location.
Explosive ordnance disposal specialists from the State Emergency Service inspected the area for explosive hazards.
Firefighters extinguished the fires in the warehouse and industrial buildings.
A total of 56 rescuers and 17 units of State Emergency Service equipment worked at the scene, along with emergency services and volunteers from the Ukrainian Red Cross rapid response team.
