During assault operations in the Kursk region, Poleski paratroopers from the 95th air assault brigade destroyed all militants from the so-called ‘Akhmat’ special unit and the 155th Marine Brigade.
‘Only two of the Akhmat’s men know how to use their brains – they wanted to save their lives and surrendered as prisoners. They were immediately given medical assistance,’ the 95th air assault brigade said.
‘Those who voluntarily surrendered kept their lives, the rest of the occupants were ground up in battle by the paratroopers!’
