Trump “swung” for a third presidential term

On November 13, during a meeting with House Republicans in Washington, D.C., U.S. President-elect Donald Trump suggested that he might run for president again, despite the ban in the country’s Constitution.

This was reported by ABC News.

Speaking to Republicans, Trump thanked everyone for the good result in the presidential and congressional elections. When journalists were taken out of the room, Trump joked: “I suspect I won’t run again unless you do something different, unless you say, ‘He’s so great, we have to figure something out.

According to the US Constitution, presidents can only be elected for two four-year terms, either consecutive or staggered.
