Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said there are concrete agreements with the United States on licenses to produce missiles for Patriot systems. According to him, U.S. President Donald Trump confirmed during their latest meeting that he had made a final decision to transfer such licenses to Ukraine.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy made the statement in response to a question about the Patriot agreements, according to Novyny.Live.
“There are concrete agreements. President Trump emphasized during our latest meeting: “Yes, I have made the final decision. Ukraine will receive licenses to produce Patriot missiles”,” Zelenskyy said.
The president did not provide further details, including the timing of the license transfer.
As a reminder, Trump said in July that the United States was ready to grant Ukraine a license to produce Patriot missiles. He later clarified that no final agreement had yet been reached, describing the transfer of such technology as a complex and sensitive issue.
