Russian forces attacked several regions of Ukraine with drones, artillery and aerial bombs overnight into 15 August. A three-month-old boy was killed and 11 people were injured in Marhanets, while the number of people wounded in the Kherson region over the past 24 hours reached 28.
A Russian drone struck a four-storey residential building in Marhanets. According to the State Emergency Service in the Dnipropetrovsk region, the three-month-old child was killed and 11 people were injured.
The injured included a five-year-old boy and a 12-year-old girl. Seven people were hospitalised in serious condition. Since the previous evening, Russian forces carried out more than 20 attacks on three districts of the Dnipropetrovsk region using drones, artillery and guided aerial bombs.
Russian strikes wounded 28 people, including one child, in the Kherson region over the past 24 hours, regional governor Oleksandr Prokudin said. Twenty-six settlements came under fire.
The attacks targeted critical and social infrastructure as well as residential areas. Six apartment buildings and four private homes were damaged, along with a supermarket, administrative buildings, a shop, a pharmacy, an outbuilding, a minibus, agricultural equipment, garages and cars.
In Zaporizhzhia, a Russian attack drone hit a shopping centre and started a fire. Another drone struck an industrial facility. According to preliminary information from the regional military administration, no casualties were reported.
In the Odesa region, a Russian attack caused a fire at a grain warehouse in the Odesa district. In the Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi district, the roof of a hotel complex and nearby dry grass caught fire. Emergency crews extinguished the fires, with no deaths or injuries reported.
