The attack on Kyiv lasted more than 5 hours

The Russian armed forces’ UAVs entered the city in groups, split up into single targets before Kyiv and attacked at very low altitudes to complicate air defence operations. The air raid in Kyiv lasted for more than 5 hours.

This was reported by the Kyiv Military Administration.

‘All drones that threatened the city were neutralised by the forces and means of all components of the Defence Forces,’ the statement said.

As a result of the attack, debris fell in six districts of the city – Solomianskyi, Sviatoshynskyi, Shevchenkivskyi, Holosiivskyi, Pecherskyi and Dniprovskyi. Residential buildings and private cars were damaged. All fires have been extinguished. At the moment, only one person has been reported injured – a police officer was poisoned by combustion products.

There is currently no air raid alert in the capital. But enemy UAVs are still being spotted in the Kyiv region. Therefore, it is possible that the drones may change their direction and pose a threat to Kyiv.
