On Saturday evening, Russian forces launched a massive ballistic missile attack on a port infrastructure facility in Odesa district, according to Odesa Regional Military Administration head Oleh Kiper. The strike caused cargo trucks parked at the site to catch fire.
Ukraine’s State Emergency Service reported that the attack killed eight people and injured 27 others. Some of the victims were on a bus that found itself at the epicenter of the strike. Passenger vehicles were also damaged.
All fires were promptly extinguished by emergency responders.
