Starting December 1, companies will be able to book new employees

Starting from the beginning of December, critical enterprises will be able to hire new employees without the need to work for any period of time.

This was announced by Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov.

“But the salary of such employees must exceed UAH 20 thousand. This does not apply to state-owned and municipal enterprises, as well as Diia.City residents,” he clarified.

Mr. Fedorov also reminded that under the new rules, a company must meet the following requirements to be eligible to hire employees:

• The average salary at the company must be at least 20 thousand hryvnias.
• No tax arrears.
• Meet one of the following criteria: residency in Diia.City, payment of more than EUR 1.5 million in taxes per year, revenues of more than EUR 32 million, or status of being important for the national economy or the needs of the territorial community.
