The US allocates another $400 million military aid package to Ukraine

During his visit to Kyiv, Pentagon Secretary Lloyd Austin announced a new $400 million military aid package for Ukraine.

He said this at a meeting with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Ukrinform reports.

‘Under the leadership of President Joe Biden, the United States continues to increase this support for Ukraine. Today, I want to announce the allocation of a $400 million presidential aid package for ammunition, military equipment and weapons for Ukraine,’ Austin said.

Earlier, President Zelenskyy said that the United States would provide Ukraine with large military aid packages in the coming months in accordance with one of the points of the Victory Plan.

‘We have agreed – this is also part of the Plan – that we will receive very quickly now, every two to three weeks, a package that will strengthen our army,’ he said.
