Trust in President Volodymyr Zelensky has grown in Ukraine, reaching 74% in May.

This is evidenced by the results of a poll conducted by the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology from 2 to 12 May 2025.

Compared to March, the number of those who trust the president rose from 69% to 74%, while distrust fell from 28% to 22%. Thus, the balance of trust and distrust rose from +41% to +52%.

As noted by Anton Hrushetsky, executive director of KIIS, despite the difficult international situation and discussions surrounding possible negotiations to end the war, Zelenskyy continues to enjoy high support. In addition, according to him, the majority of Ukrainians consider it inappropriate to hold elections before the end of the war and the signing of a peace agreement.

The poll covered 1,010 respondents and was conducted by telephone interview. The maximum margin of error is 4.1%.
