Since the beginning of the day on August 22, Russian troops have launched numerous strikes on Kostiantynivka in the Donetsk region. The city was under intense shelling for several hours, according to the head of the city’s military administration, Serhiy Gorbunov.
At least three high-rise buildings, several private houses, a shop, a Ukrposhta building, and a gas pipeline were damaged.
One person is known to have been injured.
The strikes were carried out using FPV drones and FAB-250 aerial bombs.
The Donetskoblgaz company specified that a gas distribution station was damaged as a result of the enemy attack. Due to serious damage to the system, working pressure was lost, so gas supply in the city has been completely cut off.
The company noted that it is currently impossible to restore the gas supply.
