On the morning of 18 April, Kharkiv came under a missile attack from Russia, leaving one dead and dozens injured.
This was reported by Kharkiv Mayor Igor Terekhov.
‘According to preliminary information, Kharkiv was hit by ballistic missiles with cluster munitions. That is why the damage areas are very large,’ Terekhov wrote.
One of them exploded in the air near the windows of a 16-storey residential building in Osnovyansky district. This is where the largest number of injured and one person was killed.
More than 20 apartment buildings and more than 30 private households were damaged. There are also 40 wounded.
