On the night of July 13, a Russian Shahed drone crashed near the village of Copanca in Moldova’s Căușeni district. A fire broke out at the scene.
This was reported by Radio Chișinău.
According to the National Army’s Air Operations Service, the aerial object was detected at 1:03 a.m.
Preliminarily, the Geran-2 drone, also known as the Shahed-136, entered Moldovan airspace during Russian attacks on the Odesa region.
Emergency services are working at the scene. No information about casualties has been reported.
Citizens were urged not to approach, touch or move suspicious aircraft if they discover them.
