On the evening of August 27, Russian forces twice attacked Zmiiv in Kharkiv region with jet-powered drones. One of the strikes hit a residential area, killing one person and injuring two others, including a child.
This was reported by the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Kharkiv region.
According to medics, a woman was killed in the attack and her child was injured.
After the strike, two private houses caught fire, with people inside at the time of the attack.
The fire covered an area of 120 square meters. The blaze has already been extinguished.
