A Russian drone struck the central park in Nova Vodolaha, Kharkiv region, while many people, including families with children, were there. Two women and an infant in a stroller were killed, while at least 15 people were injured, including seven children.
This was reported by National Police chief Ivan Vyhivskyi.
According to him, all emergency services are working at the scene. Emergency teams are providing first aid to the injured and inspecting the area for explosive hazards.
“Another Russian strike on civilians. An attack on children that had no military purpose whatsoever,” Vyhivskyi said.
The number of casualties in Nova Vodolaha has risen to 15, including seven children, according to Oleg Synyegubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration. All are receiving the necessary medical care, and emergency medical teams are transporting the injured to hospitals in Kharkiv.
