On the night of September 11, fires broke out in two districts of Kyiv following attacks by Russian UAVs. Eight people were injured after a drone struck a nine-story residential building.
This was reported by Kyiv police and the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
A nine-story residential building was damaged in the Dniprovskyi district. The facade burned from the first to the fifth floor, as well as an apartment on the second floor. Rescuers saved seven people.
“Eight people were injured. A 64-year-old man and a 57-year-old woman suffered burns and were hospitalized. A 23-year-old woman sustained a shrapnel wound. Five other people received medical assistance without hospitalization,” police said.
In the Obolonskyi district, a one-story warehouse building caught fire as a result of the Russian attack. The fire was extinguished at 11:53 p.m.
