On September 16, the Russian army carried out an airstrike with guided aerial bombs on the Kovpakivskyi and Zarichnyi districts of Sumy. Five people are known to have been wounded.
This was reported by the head of the Sumy City Military Administration, Serhii Kryvosheienko.
Damage was recorded at two locations in Sumy following the strike with guided aerial bombs.
An industrial area and private homes were hit.
Preliminary reports say five people were wounded. Information about their condition is being clarified.
Fires broke out as a result of the attack and are currently being contained.
