Rallies in Tbilisi: protesters chase Russian journalists away

Journalists from the pro-Kremlin RIA Novosti and Izvestia media outlets were chased away from a rally against the results of the parliamentary elections.

This was reported by Russian media.

“RIA Novosti claims that their journalist was injured because protesters turned on a loudspeaker at high volume over his ear, as they heard him speaking Russian.

He fell as a result of the sound, after which the police intervened.
The Izvestia correspondent was also kicked out by one of the protesters, and the police asked him to take a taxi to leave the rally.
