On the night of February 18, the Russians attacked Ukraine with 176 Shahed-type attack UAVs and various types of imitator drones. Air defense neutralized 103 enemy targets.
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units and mobile fire groups, the Ukrainian Air Force reports.
“As of 09.00, 103 Shahed attack UAVs and other types of drones have been confirmed downed in Kharkiv, Poltava, Sumy, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, Kyiv, Kirovohrad, Vinnytsia, Zhytomyr, Dnipro, Kherson and Mykolaiv regions,” the statement said.
67 enemy imitator drones were lost in the area.
Kirovohrad, Kharkiv, Kyiv, and Cherkasy regions suffered as a result of the enemy attack.
In Kirovohrad region, a Russian drone hit a high-rise building, injuring three people – a mother and two children.
