As of today, 737 residential buildings in Kyiv remain without heat, most of them located in the Troieshchyna district. Utility workers and energy specialists are working around the clock to restore heating.
Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported that 737 residential buildings in the capital are currently without heat. According to him, the vast majority of these buildings are in Troieshchyna, with some located in several other districts of the city.
Utility services and energy workers are carrying out round-the-clock repairs of critical infrastructure damaged by the enemy in order to restore heat to Kyiv residents’ homes. More than 1,000 municipal workers are involved in addressing heating supply issues in the capital.
Specialist teams from Lviv, Poltava, Chernihiv, Vinnytsia, Zhytomyr, Mykolaiv, Odesa, Rivne, Kropyvnytskyi, Kyiv region and several other cities are assisting Kyiv’s services. Teams from Ukrzaliznytsia are also involved.
Klitschko noted that Kyiv is grateful to everyone who is supporting and helping the capital during this crisis situation.
