Ukrainian forces continue active operations in Russia’s border regions. President Volodymyr Zelenskiy shared the update in his April 7 address.
Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, reported on the situation at the front, particularly Ukraine’s activity in the Kursk and Belgorod regions. “It’s absolutely fair that the war should return to where it came from,” the President emphasized.
He also said that the operation in Kursk has helped reduce pressure on other sections of the frontline, especially in the Donetsk region. Ukrainian units remain active along the state border, in the so-called “grey zone,” and directly on enemy territory.
“It’s crucial to continue destroying Russian equipment and the logistics the occupiers rely on,” Zelenskiy added.
