On September 17, Russian forces carried out 1,366 strikes along the frontline and against residential areas in the Donetsk region. One person was killed and six others were injured, including a child.
This was reported by the National Police of Ukraine.
Seven settlements came under fire: Kramatorsk, Sloviansk, Bilenke, Novodonetske, Oleksandrivka, Zoloti Prudy and Yasna Poliana.
Russian forces attacked Kramatorsk 13 times. One person was killed and three civilians were injured, including a girl born in 2011.
Six private houses and three vehicles were damaged in the city.
Russian forces struck Sloviansk with a KAB-250 guided aerial bomb and a Smerch multiple launch rocket system. The type of another weapon used in the attack is still being determined.
Three civilians were injured in the attacks on Sloviansk. Three apartment buildings, 19 private houses, three garages and three civilian vehicles were damaged.
Russian forces dropped three KAB-250 guided aerial bombs on Novodonetske. Twenty-two private houses were damaged.
