On September 16, a warehouse of the Olena Zelenska Foundation in Kyiv was completely destroyed as a result of a Russian attack. The warehouse stored humanitarian aid for children, families, educational institutions and hospitals in different regions of Ukraine.
This was reported by the Olena Zelenska Foundation on Instagram.
The warehouse burned to the ground. No people were injured in the attack. The warehouse stored humanitarian aid purchased and received from partners for further distribution according to needs in different regions of Ukraine.
The destroyed items included generators, household appliances, laptops, tablets, e-books, medical equipment and other aid intended to support children’s education, the work of educational institutions and hospitals, as well as to help families.
Because of the destruction of the warehouse, some of the aid may be delivered later than planned. The team is already restructuring logistics and working to provide the necessary assistance as quickly as possible to those for whom it was intended.
