On 21 October, the Russian army attacked the centre of Zaporizhzhia. As a result of the attack, 5 people were hospitalised and a large amount of civilian infrastructure was damaged.
This was reported by the head of the Zaporizhzhia regional military administration, Ivan Fedorov.
‘Russia launched another missile attack on the centre of Zaporizhzhia. A large number of civilian objects were damaged, including a kindergarten, dormitories, single-storey and multi-storey buildings. Currently, we know about 5 victims and 5 hospitalised in medical institutions.’
Fedorov said that a 49-year-old man and a 48-year-old woman are in serious condition. Three more people are in moderate condition.
More than ten units of rescue equipment are currently working at the scene.
