Well-known Ukrainian weather forecaster Natalka Didenko congratulated the residents of the capital and all Ukrainians on Kyiv Day and called on them to give the city the best gift – to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
‘I can’t think of a better gift for our beloved Kyiv than to donate money to repel and defend against the north-eastern evil. Right now,’ she wrote on social media, noting that any amount, from 10 to 10,000 hryvnia, is important.
According to her, on Capital Day, Kyiv residents and all Ukrainians can give ‘the best gift — the money we have earned for our own lives.’
As for the weather, according to Didenko’s forecast, on Monday, 26 May, Ukraine is expected to see a significant temperature contrast: from +9 degrees in the west to +29 in the east.
