On 29 March, Russian troops carried out massive attacks on settlements in Zaporizhzhia and Donetsk regions. This was reported by the National Police.
In Zaporizhzhia, 152 artillery attacks, 4 attacks from multiple launch rocket systems, 165 drone attacks and 4 air strikes were recorded. Orikhiv, Gulyaypole, Zaliznychne, Novodanilivka, Shcherbaki, Mala Tokmachka, Charivne, Novodarivka, Polohivskyi district, Kamianske and Pyatikhatky of Vasylivskyi district came under fire. Residential buildings and outbuildings were damaged. There were no reports of casualties.
In Donetsk region, police recorded 3,683 hostile attacks along the frontline and in the residential sector. In Rodynske, a Russian FPV drone attacked a postal truck, injuring a civilian. The occupants shelled Pokrovsk with FAB-250 bombs and artillery, damaging high-rise buildings. In Oleksiyevo-Druzhkivka, two FAB-250 strikes destroyed dozens of houses and critical infrastructure. In Lyman, private houses were damaged by shelling from Grad multiple rocket launchers.
This morning, Russian troops struck at Sloviansk, the consequences are being investigated.
The police and the Security Service of Ukraine have opened criminal proceedings under Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (war crimes).
