The St. Petersburg City Court has suspended the consideration of the criminal case of Alexander Sukharev, who is accused of a contract killing. This is stated in the report of the joint press service of the courts, which was brought to the attention of the Russian media.
Sukharev was arrested in August 2023. The report on his arrest stated that in June, acting on an order, he shot at least seven times at the director of the Monolith construction company, causing him to die on the spot.
In July, “Fontanka” reported on Sukharev’s intentions to sign a contract and go to war against Ukraine. According to the publication, Sukharev planned to sign the contract back in April at the stage of investigation, but the Investigative Committee did not consider it, and on June 17, the case was referred to court.
