The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has confirmed the results of overnight strikes on the “Rostov-on-Don (Central)” military airfield and the Slavneft-YANOS oil refinery in Russia’s Yaroslavl region. According to the General Staff, three transport aircraft and three helicopters were hit at the airfield.

A fire followed by detonations was recorded on the territory of the airfield in the Rostov region. The General Staff said that two An-26 transport aircraft, one An-12 transport aircraft and three helicopters were confirmed hit.
In the Yaroslavl region, the Slavneft-YANOS oil refinery was struck. According to the General Staff, the strike hit the AVT-3 primary oil refining unit, after which a fire broke out at the facility.
Slavneft-YANOS is one of Russia’s largest oil refineries, with a capacity of about 15 million tonnes of crude oil per year. The General Staff said the refinery is involved in supplying the needs of the Russian armed forces.
In addition, the Defense Forces struck two launchers of an S-400 air defense system near Vygonichi in Russia’s Bryansk region.
A site used for the storage, preparation and launch of attack UAVs was also hit in the Donetsk area.
In Kurakhivka and Nova Marivka in the Donetsk region, as well as in Luhansk, warehouses containing Russian military supplies were struck.
In Strilkove in the Kherson region and Druzhne in the Luhansk region, the Defense Forces struck areas where Russian troops were concentrated.
Earlier, we reported that drones attacked Rostov-on-Don and Yaroslavl, where fires broke out near a military airfield and at an oil refinery.
