        Five drones entered Moldova during Russia’s attack on Ukraine

        On the night of August 27, five drones illegally violated Moldova’s airspace near the border with Ukraine. The incidents occurred during Russian air attacks on Ukraine.

        This was reported by the Moldpres news agency.

        The first drone crossed the state border from Ukraine at 03:56 near Biliaivka and headed toward Palanca in Ștefan Vodă District. A minute later, it left Moldovan airspace along the same route and returned to Ukraine.

        The second drone was detected at 03:59. It was moving from the direction of Starokozache in Ukraine and entered Moldovan airspace near Căplani. At 04:10, the drone disappeared from monitoring systems near Carahasani in Ștefan Vodă District.

        The third drone crossed the border at 04:09 and moved along the route Palanca — Crocmaz — Olănești — Purcari — Răscăieți. At 04:24, it disappeared from radar near Pervomaisk in the Transnistrian region, close to the border.

        The fourth drone entered Moldovan airspace at 04:16 in the Palanca area, after which it crossed the border again in the direction of Maiaky in Ukraine.

        The fifth drone was detected at 05:50 near the Săiți customs post in the area of the Moldovan-Ukrainian border. It crossed the airspace of both countries, and at 06:02 headed toward Lisne and left Moldovan airspace.

        The Air Operations Service of Moldova’s National Army, together with its partners, continues to monitor the country’s airspace.
