Russian troops continue to try to break through the defences of Ukrainian forces in the most tense areas of the frontline. According to the General Staff, 109 combat engagements have taken place since the beginning of the day.
The situation remains the most difficult in the Pokrovske sector, where the enemy launched 36 attacks. Ukrainian defenders stopped most of them, but 8 battles are still ongoing. Fierce fighting was also recorded in the Liman sector, with 14 attacks taking place there over the last day.
In the Toretsk sector, Russians tried to advance ten times in the Toretsk area, and in the Kramatorsk sector, they attacked four times near Chasovyi Yar.
Heavy fighting also continues in the Novopavlivka, Huliaipil and Orikhivske sectors, where the enemy is actively using aviation.
Ukrainian defence forces continue to hold back the Russian offensive, inflicting significant losses on the enemy.
