        Enemy Continues to Shell Kupiansk: Two Civilians Injured in Latest Attack

        On Saturday, May 4, Russian forces carried out multiple attacks on the city of Kupiansk in Ukraine’s Kharkiv region. According to the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office, two civilians were injured as a result.

        Investigators report that around 4:00 a.m., a guided aerial bomb struck a private home, causing damage. At approximately 6:00 a.m., another attack destroyed a residential property. Fortunately, no injuries were reported in that incident. The specific type of weapon used is still being identified.

        Later, around 3:50 p.m., the city was shelled again—this time with artillery. The strike caused a fire in a private residence. A 52-year-old man suffered an acute stress reaction, and an 89-year-old woman sustained injuries from shattered glass. She has been hospitalized.

        Under the procedural guidance of the Kupiansk District Prosecutor’s Office, a pre-trial investigation has been launched under Article 438, Part 1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (violation of the laws and customs of war). Prosecutors and police investigators continue to take all necessary measures to document war crimes committed by Russian military personnel.
