As of 16:00 on March 2, there have been 72 combat engagements on the front. Ukrainian defenders are holding the line and disrupting Russian plans. The enemy’s main activity is focused on the Pokrovsk, Toretsk, and Kursk directions.

Russian forces continue shelling border settlements. Artillery fire targeted Tymonovychi (Chernihiv region), Hirky, Korenyok, and Petrushivka (Sumy region), while an airstrike hit Liutivka in the Kharkiv region.
- On the Kupiansk direction, the enemy attempted an assault near Zahryzove, but Ukrainian forces successfully repelled it.
- On the Lyman direction, seven Russian attacks were recorded near Nove and toward Novomykhailivka.
- On the Kramatorsk direction, Ukrainian troops repelled three enemy attacks near Chasiv Yar, Hryhorivka, and Oleksandro-Shultyne.
- On the Toretsk direction, the enemy launched 12 attacks, with six battles still ongoing.
- On the Pokrovsk direction, 13 clashes were recorded. Ukrainian forces repelled enemy attacks near Tarasivka, Promin, Pokrovsk, Kotlyne, Udachne, Kotliarivka, Andriivka, and Ulakly. Airstrikes targeted Pokrovsk, Hryshyne, and Leontovychi.
- On the Novopavlivsk direction, Russian forces attempted four assaults but were stopped. Airstrikes hit Voskresenka and Sichneve.
- On the Huliaipole direction, Russian aviation attacked Huliaipole, Zaliznychne, and Pryiutne. One enemy assault near Pryvilne was successfully repelled.
- On the Orikhiv direction, fighting continues near Nesteryanka.
- On the Prydniprovske direction, the enemy launched two attacks, with one battle still ongoing.
- On the Kursk direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled 14 enemy attacks, while eight more clashes are still underway. Additionally, the enemy conducted 10 airstrikes, dropping 17 guided bombs.
Ukrainian forces continue to wear down the enemy along the entire front line and in its rear.
